Leyton Green FC 2-5 Bee Gee’s

5 second half goals saw Bethnal Green Celtic get a 5-2 win against Leyton Green FC, Two goals from Damian, and one each from Billy & Shane saw Bee Gee’s get there first pre season win

Bee Gee 3-4 Forest United Res

Bethnal Green Celtic finally had there first official game since the league ended back in March, Bethnal Green Celtic has been through a lot of changes the last couple of weeks bringing in a lot of new players due to the hole squad leaving last season apart from about 3 players which are still around now.

The match kicked off in friendly ways and it didnt take long for Bethnal Green Celtic to actually take control of the match but sadly they didn’t make Forest United Res pay for there mistakes at the back, Bethnal Green Celtic took all of 2 mins before they actually but the Forest United Res keeper in trouble but just with the soft of touches the keeper was able to push it behind for a corner kick.

Forest United Res was not like Bethnal Green Celtic they did make the Bee Gee pay for there mistakes and come the 30th Minute they took the lead from a lucky shot on the edge of the box that found it self all the way through into the back of the net, but it didnt take that long for Bethnal Green Celtic to get back into the match 5 minutes later a cross come in from the left and it found the back of Ian’s hill to end up in the back of the net.

Just before the break the referee gave away a decision that cost Bethnal Green Celtic the match in the end and that was to give a spot kick to Forest United Res which they put away of course, Bethnal Green Celtic went into the break 2-1 down but it was long after the rest start that Bethnal Green Celtic actually went and pulled the game level again it was just 48 seconds into the second half that Ian was able to make it 2 goals for him.

The second half went down hill after the referee did give away a couple of strange free kicks and so on but the players played through it and got through the match and Forest United Res jumped on yet another mistake from Bethnal Green Celtic and was able to slide the ball away to make it 3-2 to Forest United Res, it took Bethnal Green Celtic another 15mins to actually bring the match back to 3-3 with a fine strike by Larry.

But bring the game back level actually lose the game for Bee Gee in the end as they where throwing so many people forward to get the 4th goal to win the match that Forest United Res caught them on the attacker on the 85th min and made it 4-3 to Forest United Res which the game did end up at but not before Bethnal Green Celtic did put the Forest United keeper under pressure with shot after shot and hit the post and then putting it just wide of the post no matter how much they threw there players forward they just couldn’t find the back of the net to bring the match level again.

New Clubs for Division Two

After a long wait to find out who would be in our league for the up coming season with a lot of talk with the number of teams that had but there name down to enter the league, we finally found out that there will be 2 New Teams and 1 Relegated team from last season, which is must less then we fought that would happen but its still early there was 5 clubs enter after the paper work was sent out last season so who knows that may happen this time, the name teams entering division Two this season are Ascot United, Forest United Res and the team that got Relegated last season are Manor Park United,

Bee Gee’s will have return trips to RYPSA who just missed out of going up last season with AAH Romford, Castle United Res & Chingford Harries all going up, there will be missing clubs from last season like Val Park Atheltic have not joined the league this season after dropping out with three games to go of the last season.

Lets hope that new season will bring new things and good things for the Bee Gee’s
