With Melbourne Sports turning up with only 10 men it started off as not the best start to the day but thankfully Bethnal Green Celtic where able to help Melbourne Sports out and give them a player to make it 11 players but they did that with the risk of there player scoring against them as he was a attacker, but the game got away 10mins late due to all the change happening and that and it looked like Bethnal Green Celtic where up for this game from the off putting there goalkeeper under pressure, but it took 35 mins for Bethnal Green Celtic to actually break through the Melbourne Sports back line and Mark Wingco took his chance well rounding it around the keeper and into the net.
But that was soon lived when Thien Nguyen (The player that Bethnal Green Celtic let play for Melbourne Sports) was taken down by Mouhamed Ba and Melbourne Sports player stepped up and powered it pass David Crisford in the Bethnal Green Celtic goal, Half time was called and the scores where level at 1-1
No changes from neither club meant that the lads where ready to go back to war to get there team a goal, it was all Bethnal Green Celtic at the start of the second half and that showed with goals as 20 mins into the second half goals from Simon Wainman, Phil Hamilton & Mikeal Christenson gave Bethnal Green Celtic a 4-1 lead. But with the luck that Bethnal Green Celtic have had this season it wasn’t long before Melbourne Sports where attacking and putting Bethnal Green Celtic under pressure and it didn’t take long for them to get through to make it 4-2, it looked like the game would finishes with that score line but Melbourne Sports popped up to get a third to make the last 5 mins of the game a nail biter.
Inj’d time hasn’t been the best time for Bethnal Green Celtic this season and yet again another goal to pull the scores level was on the cards, with a corner coming over and Phil Hamilton handing on the goal line and giving Melbourne Sports the chance to make it 4-4 and a great come back, captain of the day for Melbourne Sports steps up and knocks it to the corner and David Crisford almost gets to the ball but was unable to get the full hand to it to keep it out,
Full Time:- Melbourne Sports Res 4-4 Bethnal Green Celtic
